Performance: each COTS product will have specified performance, qualification, and supporting evidence suitable to the classification of the product enabling customers and integrators to evaluate the suitability of the components in their system. Custom products including hardware and software will capture required performance, qualification, and needed evidence in its the component requirements.
Products have no control over the application users choose to use them in, so there is no liability beyond the cost of the product itself in the case of a performance issue.
By purchasing a product, no license is granted to owning the product design. The information granted for use as a customer is not a license to own such as interface specifications, design, ratings, and test results. Do not reverse engineer or copy the design without written permission by its owner.
Customized products for a customer do not grant a license to own the product design itself. White labeled products, customer configured, and customer programmed products for resale are allowed with no guarantee of performance beyond what is listed in the product specification.
Direct labor for a customer and mission is performed under Services Agreements. The use of technologies and products owned by Modular Aerospace, partners, or otherwise does NOT grant a license to the technologies and products.
Non-disclosure: information provided to a customer with a non-disclosure agreement shall not be shared unless approved in writing by its owner.
ITAR: Product and customer systems may be subject to ITAR or other access restrictions. Contact Modular Aerospace for coordination of product or information exchange for items subject to ITAR or other access restrictions.
Modular Aerospace reserves the right to reject a product or service order, sale, or otherwise at its sole discretion. Appropriate refunds will be made.
Privacy Policy
Modular Aerospace is committed to the privacy of its customers and their information. Modular Aerospace collects customer contact information such as usernames, organizational affiliation, domains, connection IP, and similar in the course of normal interactions via email and online in order to provide a cohesive customer experience. Many Modular Aerospace avionics products (hardware products and software applications) are network connected and may communicate via user selected local networks to provide their intended functionality. This Local/Personal Area Network connectivity provides exposure of data within the selected networks leveraging network security as provided by the customer. Customer is responsible for their network and its security along with managing all devices which may share a connection to the network and its possible data use and exposures. Modular Aerospace avionics products including mobile applications do not seek connectivity to Wide Aera Networks without being configured to do so by the user. Diagnostic and performance data of the products which a customer wishes to share with Modular Aerospace must be coordinated on a per-customer basis and is not performed without their direct consent. Customer data privacy is subject to legal agreements and regulation such as a non-disclosure agreements and ITAR requiring this prior coordination.
